crappity crap crap

I should not have connected my account to formspring I didn't want any irrelevant posts on here.... oh well... I wanted to write something since earlier and I didn't feel like grabbing pen & paper (although I should use it more often since I have a ton)... anyway I haven't been up on stage since August... or sometime in the summer I don't remember clearly.... I went on stage at Ochi's Lounge, Eastville Comedy Club and back at Comic Strip Live... I converted that tape from a while back to DVD but I don't think it's good enough to use... that new one I got might be though... I showed it to my friends and a few others... I haven't been writing as often as I should which is a regular theme for me as of late.... Since it's December now I might try to fit another set in before the year ends... I'm definitely going to make doing stand-up more of a priority... especially since i might be moving away from the area.....

I don't really plan on setting clear goals for myself. That might be a bad thing but i think it's right for me. I should keep doing what I've been doing, only much more often, and then when I feel I'm experience enough find out where I can go from there.

100609 Comix or no Comix (?)

seems like this whole thing isn't meant for me to do alone. Unfortunately that's the only way I can do it. I don't really know any comedians well enough to ask for support or advice or friendship or anything like that as far as I know. Today Comix is having a New Talent Showcase that I was called for two weeks in advance and expected to have 15 people RSVP... From what I know no one has RSVP'd.... last time I tried to do this it didn't work out because the people who said they would show came late. . . and i was already annoyed and irritated from lack of sleep and food. They said they needed to know further in advance than a day or two... I'd say a week or two is advance enough... But, still it's probably my fault for not knowing the number off hand to call and RSVP.... oh well, maybe next time.... I might go anyway just to see how the show is. . . Probably not... I'm definitely going to hit the Comic Strip next week with the same tape I've had for 3 years but have only managed to have about fifteen minutes recorded on it... eventually I will fill the whole tape... eventually... hopefully it's not broken and doesn't break until after I've transferred it to a DVD

Punch Your Face 100415

Tonight was great. I went to the Revival show for a lil bit (like ten minutes) just to see where it was... walked through Union Square for the first  time ever. Then i got to china 1 for the show (late because I  was on the wrong side of town... this should be the last time i do that...). The comedians were so funny i liked all the ones I saw i wish I could've made it earlier. I'm just so glad that I live so close to Manhattan that I just hop on the PATH train and be right where all the (free) action is at. I'm going to start performing again soon... I haven't been on stage since August... but it really feels like nothing to me. I just want to try things out and be funny. I love the sound of laughter. Can't wait to get back into it. I just want to finish organizing my stuff into my small notebook so I can just carry that and my tape around instead of lugging around a whole bunch of crap. I'm so ready  it's not even funny. Hell if I was asked I would've been on stage any time. I'm ready. Even readier than SpongeBob always seems to be. Let's do this.
